Asst Prof Lee Geok Ling from the Dept of Social Work at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Prof Emeritus Eric D Blyth from the University of Huddersfield opined that allowing egg freezing in Singapore is premature. They highlighted the importance of educating those considering egg freezing emotionally and intellectually of the challenges ahead, and the need for them to receive counsel and guidance before they freeze their eggs.
