Slender women and overweight men: gender differences in South Korea

Dr Lee Yeonjin, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Changing Family cluster of the Asia Research Institute at NUS, discussed how the link between education and weight operates within the structure of gender relations in South Korea. She highlighted that huge gender differences and inequalities have been observed in these areas.
