S’pore Muslim leaders must tackle rise of anti-Shi’ism hate speech

Prof Syed Farid Alatas from the Dept of Sociology at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences noted that the rising anti-Shi’ism in the region and the Middle East is affecting Singapore Muslims. He discussed measures needed by the Muslim community to create more understanding about Shi’ism among the Sunni majority.
