Test kit to differentiate mozzie viruses

Asst Prof Justin Chu of the NUS Department of Microbiology together with researchers from Republic Polytechnic have developed a diagnostic kit that can differentiate between the dengue and chikungunya viruses in a single test. The kit can also detect the dengue serotype with high accuracy.
