Three ways to transform SMEs

Assoc Prof Tan Khee Giap, Co-Director of the Asia Competitiveness Institute at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, and Mr Henry Kwek, a member of parliament of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Finance and Trade noted that beyond tackling the usual cost bugbears, there are three ways to reassess growing SMEs: Hosting more industry clusters; transforming and expanding; and removing policy red tape.
