Trump and the triumph of kakistocracy

Prof Simon Chesterman, Dean of the NUS Faculty of Law opined that Mr Trump’s victory, like Brexit, was not merely a rejection of established political custom, and that it was a rejection of politics itself, meaning the art or science of government as such. He felt that the word that describes Mr Trump's style of government is kakistocracy, which means government by the worst elements of society.
