Trump’s visit to Asia and the US-China game in the ‘new era’

Dr Chen Gang, Asst Director (Policy Research) and Senior Research Fellow of the East Asian Institute at NUS, analysed US President Donald Trump’s visit to Asia and noted that as China’s influence in the Asia-Pacific region continues to grow, the US will have to respond to calls from countries in the region for stronger alliance.
