Urban water woes: Solutions urgently needed

Distinguished Visiting Prof Asit K Biswas from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS and Dr Cecilia Tortajada, Senior Research Fellow with the Institute of Water Policy at the School, opined that urban water problems in Delhi, Jakarta, Mexico city and elsewhere can be solved; what is needed is leadership and the political will to sustain the hard decisions taken to preserve this most vital of resources.
