US risks getting mired in 'graveyard of empires'

Mr Sajjad Ashraf, an adjunct professor from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, opined that by delaying the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, the US risks getting sucked into the battleground again. He added that each step in the direction of military engagements calls for more to achieve an elusive victory.
