Vaping deaths show why it pays to be prudent when it comes to health policy

Dr Yvette van der Eijk from the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health discussed the need for the authorities to be prudent and apply precautionary principle in practice when it comes to health policy. He added that they should fully ascertain the potential harms of a drug or promising new treatment before they are rolled out to the masses.
