Wang Gungwu: China is qualified to reclaim its 'centre of the world' status

Discussing his views on the emergence of China as a rising power and how this would affect the region and the world over the next 50 years, Prof Wang Gungwu, Chairman of the East Asian Institute at NUS, opined that China now possesses the conditions that will allow it to return to its 'centre of the world' status.
