What 1948 meant for Palestinians

Dr Victor Kattan, Senior Research Fellow from the Middle East Institute at NUS noted that 1948 remains a significant year for the Palestinians as many lost their homes with the creation of Israel. He opined that a comprehensive agreement between Israel and the Arab world would have to address the refugee issues and past grievances of the Palestinians in order to achieve closure and peace in the region.
