What are these insects, are they dangerous?

Dr Ang Yuchen from the Department of Biological Sciences at NUS Faculty of Science explained that booklice are harmless insects that are neither poisonous nor venomous and have a preference for the glue used to bind books. He added that they can also infest dried starchy foods that have become damp and provided advice for controlling its population in homes.
