What kind of structural reform do Chinese private firms need?

Prof Zheng Yongnian from the East Asian Institute at NUS opined that it should have been the best of times for China's private sector, with 60 percent of gross domestic product, 70 percent of innovation, and 80 per cent of urban employment. Yet, Chinese private entrepreneurs are uncertain about their future. He further cited that structural changes in China's economy are essential for sustaining the country’s growth.
