What’s the price for a safe, secure source of water?

Dr Cecilia Tortajada, Senior Research Fellow from the Institute of Water Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS; and Distinguished Visiting Professor Asit K Biswas from the School discussed the urban water crisis and noted that what is mostly lacking at present is political will, on the part of governments to make hard decisions that will enable water agencies to improve significantly the services they provide, and also the willingness of people to pay modest amounts to maintain a safe and reliable supply of water.
