When 28% shareholding is a majority at an AGM'

A study by Assoc Prof Mak Yuen Teen from NUS Business School and private investor Chew Yi Hong found that the average percentage of issued shares that voted is about 55 per cent at annual general meetings by Singapore­listed companies.
