Why are there so few entrepreneurs in China?

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, analysed the attributes of Chinese entrepreneurs to understand why there are so few of them in the country. He believes that it is because entrepreneurs in China lack a strong sense of mission and are more like business people looking to make a profit.
