Will things fall apart in the Malaysian federation?

Prof Andrew Harding, Director of the Centre for Asian Legal Studies at the NUS Faculty of Law, pointed out that secession and federalism have suddenly emerged as issues in Malaysia after half a century of relative national stability, and opined that the federal government needs to rethink its powers in the new politics.
