The world in Singapore

Prof Tommy Koh, NUS Professor of Law and Ambassador-at-Large in Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed how Singapore’s history has been shaped by trade, and the contributions and values of the people drawn to it from near and far. Prof Koh stressed that trade is the life blood of Singapore, thus free trade must be defended and protectionism opposed in all its forms.
