The continued rise of Asia, support for free trade and multilateralism, and empowerment of women will be the positives for 2020, writes Professor Tommy Koh, Professor at NUS Law. However, the US-China confrontation, ongoing environmental crises and worldwide protest movements will continue to provide dampeners.
