A conversation on interdisciplinary education

Why is NUS ramping up its focus on interdisciplinary education? How can students benefit from new initiatives such as the College of Humanities and Sciences, and the Common Curriculum for engineering and design? How can there be a balance between depth and breadth?

Listen in as NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye shares his thoughts with Dr Dujeepa Samarasekera, Director of the NUS Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning (CDTL).

This inaugural episode of the Teaching Connections Podcasts is being launched in conjunction with the first anniversary of Teaching Connections, CDTL’s e-platform for faculty members, students, administrative staff, and alumni to advance discussions about teaching and share effective practices and innovative ideas.
