Accounting fraud: making it less likely by raising the chances of detection
Prof Ke Bin, who is from the Dept of Accounting at the NUS Business School, and his research team had developed a new method for predicting accounting frauds, using raw accounting data from financial statements of publicly-traded US firms over a 15-year period and employing ensemble learning, a state-of-the-art paradigm in machine learning.
