Airlines have it bad with COVID-19 but airports have it worse

Assoc Prof Nitin Pangarkar from the Dept of Strategy and Policy at NUS Business School noted that the future will be more challenging for airport hubs like Singapore and Dubai in view of decreased passenger volumes and likely preference for direct flights. He suggested that hubs invest only in initiatives that lead to productivity improvements, and conserve capital for rainy days.
