More than 110 people participated in the 24th Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament at Raffles Country Club

More than 110 NUS alumni, staff, students, partners and friends competed in the 24th Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament held on 8 October at the Raffles Country Club.

NUS Pro-Chancellor Mr Po'ad Mattar presented the coveted Chancellor's Challenge Trophy and title of Best Overall Golfer to Mr Patrick Lim at a prize presentation dinner held at the Kent Ridge Guild House later that evening. Also in attendance was NUS Board of Trustees member Mr Han Fook Kwang, along with other distinguished guests.

Other winners included Ms Mah Li Lian, who took home the Golf Captain's Challenge Trophy in the Ladies Division; and Year 3 NUS Engineering student Tan Shi Geng, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's Challenge Trophy winner, who was also crowned Best Student Golfer. A team from NUS Business School comprising Mr Kwek Chok Ming (Class of '78), Mr Chua Hung Meng (Class of '81), Mr Manfred Tan (Class of '92) and Mr Zhang Xue Hai (Class of 2000) won the Inter-Faculty Champion title, securing the Vice-Chancellor's Challenge Trophy.

The annual tournament is organised by the NUS Office of Alumni Relations in collaboration with NUS Society.
