ASEAN should stop human trafficking, for its own people's sake

Assoc Prof Simon Tay from the NUS Faculty of Law opined that South-east Asian countries should take the initiative to solve the human trafficking issue for their own people, as a flagship in the human dimension of their ASEAN Community building project. Only then can the US and other major powers truly support ASEAN on the issue and work collectively to address it.
