At the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, Duke-NUS Medical School is developing a vaccine together with Arcturus Therapeutics. The vaccine’s co-developer, Prof Ooi Eng Eong, draws on his experience to explain how pharmaceutical companies have been able to develop vaccines so quickly. He also addresses queries about the safety of these vaccines and about who should be getting inoculated.
