Asst Prof Pieremanuele Canepa elected as Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry

Assistant Professor Pieremanuele Canepa from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at NUS Engineering has been elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), in recognition of his work in the field of Computational Materials Science.

Asst Prof Canepa leads the Canepa Research Laboratory at NUS which leverages the power of supercomputers and advanced simulation algorithms to push the boundaries in the transformation and storage of clean energy.

Established in London in 1848, the RSC is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious scientific societies. Fellows of RSC hold positions of influence in their community and have invaluable experience, expertise and commitment to promoting the value of chemical science.
