‘Belt and Road’ initiative and Vietnam

Dr Yu Hong of the Institute of East Asian Studies at NUS noted that due to its lack of capital and technological strength, Vietnam needs to attract foreign funds and, hence, has become an important node in China’s promotion of the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative.
