Businesses need to be ready for climate-change reporting

Professor Lawrence Loh, Director of the Centre for Governance and Sustainability at NUS Business School, and Ms Yvonne Yock, Research Associate at the Centre, highlighted that while climate change is emerging as a critical concern, the financial impacts of this change, particularly the disclosures, is still nascent. They shared about the establishment of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures by the international Financial Stability Board to enable better flow of information by organisations on climate change, and discussed how it allowed stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding climate-associated risks.
