Call for SMEs to evolve to thrive in future economy

The Institute of Policy Studies at NUS and the Committee on Future Economy co-organised a two-day conference on the future economy from 12 to 13 July 2016. The conference focused on discussions about how small and medium-sized enterprises must move beyond supporting multinational firms here and project their brands outside Singapore; what industries would define the future economy and what ecosystems would be needed to support them; and ways in which the sharing economy had broken barriers and turned individuals into micro-entrepreneurs.
