Centralised money in a decentralised world

Visiting Research Fellow Dr Emir Hrnjic from the Centre for Asset Management & Research Investment at NUS Business School and Adjunct Assoc Prof Nikodem Tomczak from the Dept of Chemistry at NUS Faculty of Science shared their views on whether any of the features of cryptocurrencies – such as the public ledger and its decentralised nature – can be incorporated into centralised banking.
