COVID-19 could be with us for a long time, but it can be contained

At a webinar organised by NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and NUHS on 14 May 2020, Adjunct Prof Leo Yee Sin from the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Executive Director at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases opined that COVID-19 might be around for a long time, and affirmed the importance for Singapore to have the ability and healthcare capacity to cope with intermittent surges of infection.
