Cure for hepatitis B around the corner

Prof Lim Seng Gee from the Department of Medicine at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Senior Consultant of National University Hospital’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, discussed the global push to tackle hepatitis B, in conjunction with World Hepatitis Day marked annually on 28 July. He also highlighted research on active compounds against the disease by a team that includes investigators from NUS and Duke-NUS Medical School.
