Cutting-edge tech: New material repairs itself when scratched, slashed

A team led by Asst Prof Benjamin Tee from the Dept of Materials Science and Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering has taken inspiration from the skin of jellyfish to make an electronic “skin” which is transparent, water-resistant and stretchable. The new material can repair itself when exposed to air or submerged in water, and also conduct electricity.
