Digital technology can change the face of manufacturing

Prof Seeram Ramakrishna from the Dept of Mechanical Engineering at the NUS Faculty of Engineering opined that the nexus of digital technologies and industrial manufacturing will lead to new products, lower resource consumption and improved services. He added that the more engineers are comfortable with digital technologies, the more innovative they can be in shaping a comfortable world for all.
