Dive into literary tradition to become a well-rounded writer

Dr Mohd Faizal Musa, from the Dept of Malay Studies at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, opined that it is important for contemporary writers to also have knowledge of traditional and classical literature works as they will lack depth and skills in their craft if they choose to be detached from such works.
