Goh Yew Lin to head Duke-NUS as chairman; inventor Aaron Thean named engineering faculty dean

The University announced the appointments of Mr Goh Yew Lin as Chairman of Duke-NUS Medical School’s governing board and Prof Aaron Thean as Dean of NUS Faculty of Engineering. Mr Goh was founding chairman of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and member of the NUS Board of Trustees while Prof Thean is one of National Research Foundation’s returning Singaporean scientists who started his academic career at the NUS Dept of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
