Helping Singaporean women age with optimism

Mr Varian Lim from the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), a think-tank within the Lee Kuan Yew School of Policy Studies, discussed what could possibly account for the more pessimistic outlook among older women. He opined that as Singapore grapples with the policy implications of a rapidly ageing population, it would be useful to provide residents – particularly older women – with a wide range of options to promote healthy living and a sense of optimism in their twilight years.
