Here’s why we didn’t spend a cent on shopping this Singles’ Day
Woo Qiyun, a final-year Environmental Studies undergraduate at NUS shared his thoughts about Singles’ Day, about what was spent and what was saved. He opined that as consumers, we always have a choice – to be caught up in chasing consumerist aspirations or to be creative in the way we deal with our wants and do our bit for the environment.
