High zinc in brain linked to poor memory

A team from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS has found that the difficulty some people have with long-term memory loss in old age could be linked to an abnormally high level of zinc in a special region in the brain, and the drug TPEN could help to reverse this.
