Higher education that helps young land jobs

Distinguished Visiting Prof Asit K. Biswas of the Lee Kuan Yew School for Public Policy at NUS, and Mr Julian Kirchherr of the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, opined that one intervention needed to enhance the practical relevance of higher education to maximise employability for university graduates would be to incentivise those who teach or aim to teach in universities to gain work experience outside of academia.
