How school proximity affects house prices

Prof Sumit Agarwal from NUS Business School, and Assoc Prof Sing Tien Foo from NUS Institute of Real Estate Studies shared an NUS study which tested the extent that distance-based school allocation rules influence families’ home-buying decisions. Their findings confirmed that homes located within a 2km radius of popular primary schools command large price premiums.
