How should China respond to international expectations?

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, opined that more countries are hoping that China can take the lead in continuing the advancement of globalisation in the face of more uncertainties in the West, thus it will be increasingly hard for China to ignore such expectations.
