How to train AI to be fair to humans

Yap Jia Qing, Research Assistant on regulating Artificial Intelligence (AI) at NUS Faculty of Law and Thiparat Chotibut, theoretical and computational physicist at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, both co-founders of the Emerging Technologies Policy Forum, noted that Singapore’s launch of an AI governance framework is an opportunity for global thought leadership in regulating AI. However, issues of fairness and explainability in AI can be complex and challenging.
