India’s voice at G7 shows forum’s ineptness with global issues

Dr Karthik Nachiappan of the Institute of South Asian Studies at NUS noted that while India addressed key global issues of climate change and digital transformations at the 2019 G7 Summit, leading western powers seemed distant and less inclined to bridge those issues. He opined that the G7 appears to be morphing into a forum that discusses emergent global challenges instead of managing long-term global concerns.
