Innovation competition between US and China

Prof Chen Kang, Director of the Master in Public Administration and Management Programme at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS observed that in recent years, the competition between the two major powers, China and the US, has been unfolding in many areas. In this century, the key points of competition had shifted from raw materials and markets to the fields of technology and innovation. Dr Chen opined that whoever had the ability to innovate would be able to prevail and dominate the competition.
