Innovative teaching approaches

Prof Tan Eng Chye, NUS Deputy President (Academic Affairs) and Provost, said that online courses can overcome the limitations of a classroom to allow students to learn at their own pace and facilitate the sharing of knowledge. He added that while we can likely expect more blended learning across universities in the future, the approach will be need to be calibrated differently depending on the desired learning outcomes of each module.
