Let’s not wait for another rap video to discuss racial issues

Dr Chitra Rajaram, Adjunct Senior Research Fellow from the Institute of Policy Studies at NUS, who moderated a dialogue on race with Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam that was organised by NUS, noted that dialogues on racial issues need to be ongoing. She added that it is only when we are able to have these conversations openly, comfortably and respectfully at every level can we evolve into a matured, tolerant people and co-exist as a truly multi-racial society.
