Making science simpler and fun

The Science Demo Lab at NUS Faculty of Science was started 15 years ago by Prof Sow Chorng Haur, Head of the Faculty’s Dept of Physics, to get students excited about science. NUS science undergraduates have also played a bigger role in the facility, as part of the Young Educators in Science initiative started by the Faculty. The Lab has received about $200,000 from Dow Chemical Pacific (Singapore) over the past three years in support of its work.
