More entering NUS via talent admission scheme

In 2015, NUS had admitted 670 students under the discretionary admission scheme – where students who fall short of the entry score for a course are considered on attributes such as leadership or entrepreneurial skills or talent in the arts and sports. A few years ago, NUS also started offering scholarships to those who excel in sports and the arts as part of the University’s efforts to broaden talent recognition.
